this is an album of straight up love songs
or is it?
back in 2009-10 in the tornado riding wild days, i came to love a super-sweet and lovely girl i called donna whose angel-beauty was only matched by her attitude. she could throw faster and hit harder than most dudes, and was a great tree climber. there was a long courtship, lots of distance and some pretty amazing drama (mostly cuz of me), which made for ideal songwriting conditions.
